The food here is AMAZING! I always get the nyama choma (sizzling lamb) and the chikina awaze tibis (lamb with the delicious spongy injera). Bala is the best! We live in Edinburgh but he remembers us (and what we eat) every time!

Great quality food, very reasonable prices, you feel good after eating (i suspect no seed oils, but don't know for sure), I recommend the goat curry, peri peri chicken wings and lamb stew, they also do bbq meats which I'm yet to try but look amazing. Friendly family atmosphere as well.
The Calabash is one of my favourite places to go for a bite and a pint. As soon as I go in, Bala is greeting me and grabbing me my usual, and everyone is usually chill. As for food I would recommend the Nyama Choma, which is a dish of lamb that comes with a spicy sauce. I'm always going here and absolutely love it.
